" I had the best experience ever with Ensemble Events!! Chuck was amazing to talk to, very outgoing and accommodating. Great radio voice too!!! He was able to customize the photo booth to our theme, kept everything moving smoothly and on time, kept checking in with me with how he was doing, just an overall amazing experience. I hopefully won't have another wedding myself, :) but I will be recommending him to anyone who is!!!!     Thank you so very much!   I Couldn't have been happier."

When it comes to wedding DJs, there is no shortage of variety to choose from.  Because they are seen as a cheaper alternative to DJs, and there are no regulations or standards in the industry, it's very easy to end up with a DJ that has no business doing weddings (or DJing at all).  The key is knowing what questions to ask, and what to look for in your potential wedding DJ.  Knowing what to look for and what to ask can be the difference between a big disappointment and one of the most memorable days of your life.  A good wedding DJ can, at the very least:

- Mix music well from one song to another

- Play a wide variety of music - any genre

- Keep the party flowing smoothly without a break.

A good DJ will read your crowd and react to them with their song selections, as well as take requests from your guests.  A good DJ will keep the fun going and keep your guests informed, involved, and entertained the entire time.  That is our belief here at Ensemble Events.  We spend a lot of time with our brides and grooms to get a good sense of their personalities along with those of their guests - so that we can maximize the fun, thereby maximizing the memories.

The process starts with a foundation meeting, where we sit with you and figure out just what your goals are, and what you want for yourself and your guests on your big day.  This is very important because it's where we discuss the overall pace and mood of the day (many DJs arrive expecting someone else to control the pace of the reception - we think that is nuts).  In our mind, it's the DJ's responsibility to not only control the flow, but keep everyone on the same page so that they are able to respond to any situation (especially those predictable mishaps). We also love to work with our couples to create as many fun and unique moments as possible during the reception.  We have lots of ideas and ways to create memorable moments, and we love to share and plan them with our couples!  We love special moments, unique moments, and especially comedic moments!

After our foundation meeting (or sometimes during), we sit together and either establish the timeline of your big day, or go over the timeline made by the venue (many times, they plan the timeline and we simply go with it.  We strongly recommend the timeline and entire recpeption be planned around the entertainment, but that cannot always happen).  Through our experience, we know what works and what doesn't work, and work with you to attain just the right amount of activities and events in your timeline to keep your guests informed, involved, and entertained.  A totally packed timeline can overwhelm your guests, and an empty timeline can bore them - the key is keeping the energy alive all the way until the fun dance party at the end!

The third step in our planning process is the site visit.  Even if we have been to a venue before, we prefer to visit each venue with our couple so that we can all be on the same page concerning the layout and how it goes along with the goals and plan of the day.  Sometimes, extra speakers, wireless mics, or other special accommodations are required depending on the number of guests and the possibility of their having special/unique needs.

After the first three meetings, we will meet with our couples as many times as it takes (both in person and over video conference) to plan your big day to your satisfaction.  That number depends on the tastes and needs of our couples, and varies from one (or none) to several in person and remote meetings.  We don't mind, in fact we love it - there's never too much preparing for the biggest day of your life.

We love weddings, and we love to be a part of the most special and memorable day of our clients' lives.  We welcome the opportunity to work with you and help you create special memories on your most special day!
